The specialist International Trade and Energy department of this London firm are recruiting a Commercial Energy Lawyer. The group has experience of working on all aspects of energy work and particular strengths are: emerging markets including the 'sanctions countries' of Iran, Iraq and Libya, innovative projects and a wide range of clients. The team are active in all emerging markets and have a number of current cases in Russia, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. The team has a very diverse client base giving wide exposure to all types of work, including acting for oil majors, governments, international trading houses, transport and logistics companies, tanker operators, power producers, contractors, banks, ECAs, insurers and service providers.

Corporate - Abu Dhabi (PQE: 5-6 yrs)
The expanding Corporate team of the Abu Dhabi office of this major English firm is looking to recruit a corporate lawyer. The firms offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai provide a broad range of busy corporate/commercial work and operate seamlessly. They are looking for candidates who have had exposure to a broad range of corporate transactional work, including acquisitions and disposals, takeovers, M&A, joint ventures and reorganisations. You will be required to have experience with high value domestic and international deals and a real interest in marketing and the ability to foster long-term client relationships. Due to the seniority of this position, it offers an exciting opportunity to work towards partnership as the development of the office continues.

Commercial IT/IP - Dubai
An exciting opportunity to join the expanding corporate/commercial team of a major English firm to enable you to gain general broad commercial experience. The role will involve a mixture of a broad range of commercial IT/IP matters including sale and purchase agreements, distribution agreements, IT procurement and licensing agreements, aswell as franchise agreements for UAE based companies.

Commercial Property - Dubai
Help to develop and build the property practice of the corporate/commercial team of a major English firm. The Middle East regional office provides a broad range of property work, with a focus on commercial property transactions, advising on leases and tenancy issues, drafting of standard form sale and purchase documentation and advising generally on property ownership issues throughout the GCC and surrounding countries.

Corporate, Insurance and Investment Funds – London
A major U.K. practice is looking for lawyers with 2-4 years PQE to join one of their corporate divisions, concentrating on cutting-edge investment funds launches, reconstructions, mergers and acquisitions and major M&A and debt/equity capital markets transactions for insurance companies. Clients include, leading investment banks, major insurance companies and fund managers.
